Is Portable Hydrogen Power Closer then we think? Alumifuel Power is leading the way in Hydrogen Energy!

If you were like most of us growing up you expected to see some flying cars and to have your pillows fluffed and sheets tucked in by your very own robotic maid. Well as the Y2K craze came and passed us by so did the idea of flying cars and living in a so called ‘Jetsons’ world. Many Americans forgot about hydrogen energy as they slowly came back to reality that flying cars and robotic maids were still in the distant future.
But as gas prices reached an all time high in 2009 more and more people started looking for alternative energy sources and one of the best alternative energy sources everyone found was hydrogen. Hydrogen is the lightest and most abundant chemical element available in nature and when used as an energy source, its only byproduct is water!

When aluminum is exposed to the air, it oxidises, Alumifuel’s technology is based around their keen ability to remove this layer of oxidation, exposing the aluminum to their proprietary mixture. This process removes hydrogen from the H20 atoms and releases hydrogen gas. This is the “lame mans” terms as the entire process is a lot more involved then just that but Alumifuel has nailed this process down with their own Portable Balloon Inflation System.
Alumifuel has created a hydrogen generator that is extremely durable and was designed to fit in the back of a work truck. This generator uses Alumifuel’s proprietary mixture that is stored in 32 oz Cartridges. Their generator is as simple as dropping in the 32 oz cartridge, locking the lid down in place and pulling back on a lever that pierces the bottom of the 32 oz cartridge. When the generator pierces the cartridge the mixture is mixed with H20 and the magic comes to life. As the insides of this generator do what exactly what Alumifuel Power Inc has spent thousands of man hours so diligently planning, out the other end of the generator comes hydrogen gas. This connection allows Alumifuel to get into the weather balloon market which is a multi million dollar market. On top of their civilian connection they are also working with the 2nd Largest Military based company, working with them on their unmanned underwater vehicles. Alumifuel has been under the radar, but with the mayor of Philadelphia is really pushing this Green incentive and Alumifuel is based right in the ‘hydrogen hub’ of the world.
On top of all their connections to enter the market place is one of their most important connections. Drexel University. With 2 of their employees recently graduating Drexel (and one currently attending), they have access to the world’s best microscopes that without huge overhead costs, no other companies are able to use to get the best analysis of their technology. With these special microscopes Alumifuel is able to see what most other scientists would envy. This gives Alumifuel the ability to also analysis their data in ways only other hydrogen companies could dream of.
Alumifuel location at 3711 Market Ave in the Science Center in Philidephia is a large enough spot for both their lab facility and a machine shop. Right downstairs in the same building is a much larger machine shop so if Alumifuel needs anything they do not have they can easily go downstairs and get what they need. Many company are still trying to come up with a system that can create hydrogen gas a byproduct and Alumifuel has it nailed down to a science. Alumifuel is way beyond the normal research and development stage. Alumifuel is currently producing these hydrogen generators.
What separates Alumifuel from the current hydrogen alternatives right now are the 32 oz cartridges. Right now the only way hydrogen is transferred, stored, etc is in dangerous high pressured K- Cylinders. These highly pressure K-Cylinders limit the use of hydrogen because of its dangerous properties. This is where the PBIS generator (which is a low pressure system) and the cartridges are perfect for any type of hydrogen production solution. Alumifuel’s generator can produce hydrogen from these cartridges in the most remote locations in the world where K-cylinders were unavailable. This is extremely important for the weather balloon aspect of the company because their are remote places all around the world where weather balloon projects have been scrapped due to the lack of being able to import and transport these K-Cylinders.

Batteries lose their charge over time but hydrogen based fuel cells are alot more reliable in extreme conditions compared to battery powered unmanned underwater vehicles

We need to find something to stop our dependence on foreign oil and hydrogen could be the next very thing to be in the spotlight in America. With companies like Alumifuel Power Inc (AFPW.ob), the world is starting to realize even tho flying cars are not going to happen anytime soon, alternative energy sources such as hydrogen are already here. Alumifuel has proved getting hydrogen gas is as easy as dropping a 32 oz cartridge into their generator. It wont be long before a fuel cell company finds a way to incorporate their generators with a recharge system for their fuel cells. Imagine going to your summer house that has no electric lines running to the house, but instead you simply bring some 32 oz cans and pop them into your generator and bam, lights on.
